 ur fashionable, recycled paper bead jewelry is handmade by women from the internal refugee camps of northern Uganda. The eco-chic African beads are not only beautiful, but also provide a source of independence  and opportunity in a place where those two things are hard to come by. The income from the sale of the necklaces helps the women buy food, medicine, and school supplies for their children. In addition, net revenue from the necklace sales is given back to our beaders in the form of education, training and entrepreneurship development.
